Air:
Qantas Airlines operate flights daily to Proserpine from throughout Australia. A local coach service, courtesy coaches from accommodation houses, and taxi and hire cars are available from the airport to Proserpine, Cannonvale, Airlie Beach and Shute Harbour. Qantas has daily services into Hamilton Island from ports throughout Australia. Water taxi transfers to other island resorts and Shute Harbour are available.
Virgin operated daily to Mackay with coach connection, or car hire to and from the Whitsunday Coast and most island resorts via boat transfers from Shute Harbour Jetty
Flight West fly daily from Brisbane to Townsville, hire cars and express coach services are available to drive to Whitsunday and return
Rail:
Queensland Rail's "Sunlander" and "Queenslander" services depart Brisbane and Cairns for Proserpine several times weekly. Sitting chair and sleeping berths are available. Also the Great South Pacific Express services this area.
Coach:
Greyhound Pioneer and McCafferty's Coaches have up to five services daily into Proserpine, Airlie Beach or Shute Harbour connecting with services throughout Australia.
Road:

Security parking:
Security parking is available to Shute Harbour Jetty Car Park Station at industry rates. Reservation can be made for this service
Within the Region:
Access to the islands is available by launch from Shute Harbour or Hamilton Island, Water Taxi and also by local fixed wing, amphibian and Helijet services from the coast. Taxis, hire cars, bicycles, scooters and local bus services are available on the coast.
